How
- Clean & Prep:Scrub the surface to remove dirt, oil, and old paint. Patch cracks and corners by brushing on a layer of Duraproof 300, pressing a fabric reinforcement strip into the wet mix, and letting it dry for 24 hours.
- Wet the Area:Lightly dampen the surface with water. It should be moist but have no standing puddles.
- Mix:This is a ready-to-use, single-part product. Stir for 2 minutes to ensure it is well-blended, but avoid whipping air into the mix.
- Prime (Optional):If the surface is very porous, mix Duraproof 300 with water (1:1 ratio) and apply as a primer. Let it dry before the next step.
- First Coat:Apply an even layer using a brush, roller, or spray, ensuring all tiny pores are filled.
- Second Coat:Wait 8 hours, then apply the second coat in the opposite direction (cross-wise) for full coverage.
- Dry & Clean:Let it cure for at least 24 hours. Wash your tools with water immediately. Once it dries, it can only be removed by scraping.
💡 Quick Tips: If the surface looks "brownish-grey" when wet, don't worry! It’s a natural reaction to light and water. It will turn black again once dry and won't affect the quality.
