How
- Prep the Surface: Scrub the concrete or brick until it is clean and free of dust, oil, or loose paint.
- Mix Your Consistency: Start by pouring about 75% of your water into a bucket, then gradually add the full bag of powder while stirring. Mix for 3 minutes, then add the remaining water until it reaches the thickness you need:
- Fluid (Runny): ~4.2L water per bag (best for tight gaps).
- Flowable (Like thick syrup): ~3.9L water per bag.
- Plastic (Like putty): ~3.5L water per bag.
Note: Use the mix within 30 minutes. - Pour the Grout: Pour immediately under plates or bolts. Keep the flow "continuous." Don't stop halfway, or air bubbles will get trapped.
For Deep Holes: If the gap is thicker than 50mm (2 inches), mix in equal parts 10mm gravel to prevent the grout from getting too hot and cracking as it dries. - Wait & Cure: If you used a wooden mold (formwork), leave it in place for 3 days. Once removed, keep the surface damp or use a curing spray to ensure it stays strong.
- Clean Up: Wash your tools with water immediately. Once it hardens, it is permanent.
💡 Quick Tips: Adding too much water makes the grout weak. If you see water pooling on the surface, it’s too thin and won't dry strong.
